From Georgia Tech Athletics:
The 2018 Georgia Tech career event was a culmination of month-long ‘Market-Ready’ initiatives as part of the Georgia Tech Total Person Program that included business card creation, resume building and workshops. The event is designed to help student-athletes secure jobs and internships of the coming year as well as prepare student-athletes for the job interview process. Student-athletes were also given the opportunity to take a professional headshot at the event.
Twenty-five companies were in attendance to network with student-athletes. A small number included: Accenture, Barton Executive Search, Cox, DPR Construction, EY (Ernst & Young), General Motors, Georgia Tech Research Institute, L’Oréal, RaceTrac, SunTrust Bank, Synergis, Thomas & Hutton, and Turner Sports.
