We are actively monitoring the status of the emerging Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) with regards to our upcoming meetings. As of today, LEAD1 Association is moving forward as planned with the Collegiate Sports Summit, in partnership with Sports Leadership Institute and presented by Learfield IMG College. We will be monitoring the situation on a daily basis between now and April 14, but there are currently no plans to cancel or postpone our upcoming events.
We have over 35 speakers confirmed for the Collegiate Sports Summit, as well as over 90 Division I Athletics Directors scheduled to attend. Nevertheless, we understand there are concerns regarding coronavirus and its impact on the Summit. We are closely monitoring what the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), local and state government agencies, and other health organizations are saying regarding the spread of COVID-19. We will continue to work closely with the Live! by Loews Hotel and all of our partners to ensure attendees are safe.
